Let It Snow on Your Memories
Snow can be a wonderland of fun to a kid. If you have captured some fun snowy moments with your camera, a great way to showcase and highlight them is to build a beautiful snowy scene around them on paper. When you think of snow and ice, the colors that come to mind are bright whites, icy blues, and silvery grays. Pick your color palette based on your photographs and what will help make your fun winter shots shine. In our picture frame craft example, a cool wintery blue was used as the base, with a warm snowflake patterned paper as the accent to frame the photo. The snowflake shape makes a great accent that ties your whole page together. You can use it many different ways on your scrapbook layout. Add fun and interest with the use of cut-out paper snowflakes arranged on your layout like falling snow. Use the snowflake shape in place of letters or symbols in headlines. In our example, a large snowflake is used to document the year the photo was taken, while smaller cut-out snowflakes are scattered around the edge of the layout. Also, a little added texture was added by stamping a random dot pattern around the edges of the layout to also resemble snowfall. A snow-themed scrapbook page is a perfect way to capture those special wintery moments in a fun and beautiful way.
